Where is my Stimulus Refund Check? President Barack Obama has outlined the benefits of the 2009 Stimulus Refund Package. The improvised two-year package from the previous year was signed by President Obama on the 17th of February 2009 and is a critical fix to the current economy. As for those in receiving social security, a one-time $ 250 payment will be issued. If you receive your benefits electronically, you should receive the payment electronically. Others should receive a check by June 17th. Jobless individuals will get an additional 20 weeks in unemployment benefits. The 2009 Stimulus Payment will be a temporary increase of $ 25 in addition to the roughly $ 300 jobless workers currently receive is also a part of weekly unemployment benefit.
